Note about photo: For best results, before uploading, the photo should be "sized" to the following maximum dimensions: 400 pixels wide x 350 pixels high, and be saved with a resolution of 72 DPI (dots per inch), optimized for the web and saved as a JPEG or PNG type file.

If you upload photos that are larger than the above specified dimensions, this site will automatically size the images to correct proportions. Sometimes very large images (such as those taken with a high resolution digital camera) may not achieve optimum results once automatically sized by this site.

Most computers come with basic photo editing software that you can use to accomplish this. If you do not have a photo editing program, there are "shareware" (free) programs available from the web, or you can purchase a program such as Photoshop Elements from Adobe® (a free trial version of the program is available for download).

Note: Native Xpressions does not endorse nor support any particular photo editing programs - Photoshop Elements is only mentioned as an example.

User Agreement Please read our User Agreement before you sign up for an account.

Artist Agreement I hereby agree to provide authentic, handmade pieces of art to Native Xpressions, created by myself, during the duration of my membership determined by my received monthly payments according to the membership plan I select. These pieces will be sold exclusively through the Native Xpressions website. The fore mentioned membership requirement does apply to any possible promotional agreements with Native Xpressions which may not obligate me to pay a monthly fee. Upon the expiration of any promotions that waive monthly fees, I am responsible to resume paying all regular monthly fees as noted on this site. All membership fees will be charged as recurring payments to the PayPal account I select. During my membership the artwork I post on the Native Xpressions website will be ready for shipment upon sale at all times. I understand that membership does not guarantee the sale of my artwork and that with accepting this agreement I am consenting to: providing a copy of my tribal documentation** (tribal id card or paper documentation with tribal seal) as proof of Native lineage; that each photo uploaded to my gallery, as well as the artwork itself is of the utmost quality; to abide by shipment deadlines: all pieces I have uploaded to my gallery will be shipped to the customer within 2-3 business days of sale to ensure that 1. the customer receives purchased items in a timely manner 2. I, the artist may be paid for my pieces in a timely manner. I understand that breaking this agreement may result in the suspension of my membership and/or my membership being revoked. * All members must have pieces posted for sale ready for shipment at all times, regardless of whether this requirement is specifically noted in the membership package details. **Tribal documentation copies should be received no later than 2 weeks after joining Native Xpressions. Failure to do so may result in your profile being placed on hold or deleted Mail documents to: Native Xpressions Attn: Membership Dept P.O. Box 200043 Austin, TX 78720 Unacceptable Artwork Native Xpressions does not want to limit your creativity. Due to the positive, supportive environment of our community, Native Xpressions reserves the right to remove artwork deemed conceptually harmful in nature. This includes, but is not limited to, art which is pornographic, promotes alcohol/drug use or promotes hateful conduct/activities. The above is a general description of what is considered prohibited. If you have any questions about whether your artwork would qualify for removal, please contact member services via email with the artwork in question attached. In the case of removal or questions about artwork posted, the artist will be notified. If you, the artist, continue to post artwork which has been classified as prohibited, this may result in suspension or termination of your account. Return Policy Native Xpressions does not offer returns or warranties nor enforces a return policy. We depend on our artists to develop their own return policy. We do recommend to all customers that they return any item(s) to you within three days of receipt to be considered for a refund. It is up to you the artist to determine whether or not to distribute full refunds. Offering buyers a standard refund percentage for all items is recommended. Contact Information All artists promise to keep their account information up to date at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, mailing address, phone number, email address and PayPal user name. Native Xpressions is not liable to any occurrences caused by an artist not keeping their account information up to date such as, but not limited to, artwork not being shipped out to a customer on time. Liability Native Xpressions is not liable for any items shipped by a Native Xpressions artist to the buyer which may have been lost or damaged during shipment. We recommend that all Native Xpressions Artists obtain shipping insurance to ensure that items are covered in the event that any instance may occur. Native Xpressions does not accept liability for any items sold that may have been misrepresented in any way whether the issue is of product quality or timeliness of shipment or any other misrepresentation. We do, however, ask to be notified if such instances occur as Native Xpressions wants to represent the utmost quality in artwork and shipment practices. Please contact customer service at if you feel you have experienced an instance of misrepresentation. Native Xpressions does not accept liability for artwork not being shipped customers. All artists accept the responsibility of keeping up to date on their gallery orders and shipping artwork ordered withing 2-3 business days. Artists whom do not adhere to the for mentioned shipping responsibility may be subject to account termination and/or will be charged a penalty fee of $5.00 in addition to the amount initially received for the artwork. CUSTOMERSVC@NATIVEXPRESSIONS.COM Ship To Address All Ship To addresses must match the address of the PayPal account used to make purchases. This is to protect our artists against fraud. If your Ship To address does not match the address of the PayPal account used, the sale will be voided you may be subject to a $5.00 returned item fee. Artist Gallery Order Payments Due to our commitment to try to protect our Artists against fraud, we will verify that the address of your customers' PayPal account matches the address on their Native Xpressions member account. Once we have verified this information, the funds for the purchase will be deposited into the PayPal account of the Artist. This verification process should take no more than one or two days. Etiquette We want all members of the Native Xpressions Community feel welcome and comfortable while using communication tools provided by Native Xpressions including, but not limited to, chat rooms, profile/gallery comments and forums. By accepting this agreement, I consent to the following: 1. I will not verbally abuse, attack, embarrass, or threaten anyone. This includes, but is not limited to, derogatory remarks regarding race, gender and sexual orientation. 2. I will not use obscene, offensive, or sexually explicit language. 3. When communicating with members privately through tools such as instant messaging, I will be considerate in regards to what may be considered as obscene language according to the member I am communicating with. 4. I understand that any personal contact information, such as email, is for use of networking and/or commissioning an artist. Any spamming or continued communication after a member has requested a cease in communication is not permitted. Cancellation of Membership Cancellation of membership will be affective starting the next applicable billing date. Refunds will not be issued if membership is canceled before a full payment cycle has been completed. External Links Native Xpressions may provide external links for member viewing/access through the Native Xpressions website or email notification. Native Xpressions is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, products or services of any external links provided. By accessing links provided by Native Xpressions, you are assuming full responsibility for any risks possibly associated with accessing such sites. Confidentiality All information accessible to me as a member of Native Xpressions is confidential. I will not share or sell any information I receive through the Native Xpressions Community. This includes, but is not limited to, an Artist's personal information such as an email address. Copyright Native Xpressions is the copyright owner of all data/images on the Native Xpressions website unless otherwise noted. Artists who post data/images on the Native Xpressions website are copyright owners of the information posted or have been authorized by the copyright owner to post the material. Information posted on the Native Xpressions website may not be sold, reproduced, publicly displayed or altered without permission from the appropriate copyright owner. Staying Connected with Native Xpressions I do authorize Native Xpressions to send me update emails regarding the Native Xpressions Community. This includes, but is not limited to, newsletter and notifications of exclusive member discounts/offers. Native Xpressions does not share your personal information with any third parties. Your contact information will solely used by Native Xpressions to keep you connected with what's going on in the Native Xpressions Community; it will not be used for solicitation. Communication Tools Communication tools provided by Native Xpressions are for the purpose of networking, creating/sustaining new relationships, discussing topics of concern/interest and artist support/mentoring. They are not to be used for business advertisements or calls for art submissions/artists unless specified. Communications tools include, but are not limited to, email addresses, forums, instant messaging, chat and comments. If you are a business or someone who would like to post an advertisement for member viewing, please email CONTACT@NATIVEXPRESSIONS.COM for information on how to do so. Any unauthorized advertisements will be removed. Discrimination Native Xpressions does not want to support or perpetuate the media/society's idea of who a "real" Native American is. We support today's Native American while spreading awareness through worldwide exposure of who "real" Native Americans are. We welcome all Native Brothers and Sisters to our Artist Community regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion or skin color. As a member of the Native Xpressions community we expect that you will give our Artists the same respect. While Native Xpressions does support discussions on any topics related to Native America, we do not support discrimination against Natives based on blood quantum whether the question of quantum is fact or perceived. Since all Natives are required to submit proof of Native lineage to be able to sell their artwork they should be given the proper respect. Age Verification By accepting this agreement, I am verifying that I am 18 years of age or older. Amendment of Terms Native Xpressions reserves the right to amend these terms at our discretion. In the case that terms have been amended, all members will receive notification via email of the changes made. Native Xpressions reserves the right to suspend/terminate membership at its sole discretion. Any violation of the above accepted terms may lead to suspension and/or possible termination of membership. In either case, refunds will not be granted. Our Promise Native Xpressions guarantees to provide marketing for all artists (via internet, print media, etc.) and web support in the form of supporting pictures uploaded and personal profiles as long the artist adheres to the terms listed above.
