“My fiancé and I were lucky enough to have Haley photograph us. Going into our session we were extremely nervous and worried about how we were going to "perform" in front of the camera. We are two pretty awkward and self conscious people. Whenever we try to take a nice photo together they usually turn out very forced and pretty bad. However, Haley made us feel super comfortable! She kept us busy by assigning little tasks for us to do for the camera which gave us NO time to overthink what our body and faces were doing. She was able to capture genuine smiles, laughter, and true intimate moments. We never saw ourselves look so good! My fiancé and I had such a fun time on our adventurous shoot that we're ready to do a million more shoots together instead of hiding like before. We were just so impressed with the entire experience and we could not recommend Haley more! Thank you for our beautiful photos!!”
“I honestly don't even have the proper words to express what an absolute blessing Haley was to my husband and I and how perfectly she captured our wedding day. Her warm, open personality made us feel instantly at ease while taking photos and she kept us laughing throughout the entire process! Haley is adventurous and is willing to go the absolute extra mile for her couples. She was willing to try anything and her creative spirit shone throughout the day. She found beauty and light in every moment and was able to translate these moments into precious pictures. I could not have asked for better pictures or a better photographer. SHE IS AMAZING !!”
“Haley is an amazing photographer! Her professional, punctual and courteous demeanor was beyond anything I could’ve asked for. She helped me navigate my special day and offered great advise as well as making my family and friends feel at ease and enjoy the moment we were in! I highly recommend hiring Native Expressions and Haley to document and preserve your special day through her outstanding service and vision of all that love is and all that your special day should be.”
“Haley was fantastic! She was super professional from our initial contact all the way to the delivery of our gallery. We were visiting St. Augustine for only two days from Tampa and she was very accommodating including being willing to possibly change our session due to the weather. Our session with her was super fun and easy. I am thrilled with the finished product!!! I am confident you will not be disappointed with your experience with her!”
A long, long time ago, two girls grew up together — going to school, attending tea parties — and then these two girls grew up. One chased some dreams and became a photographer, the other found the love of her life. Last week these two girls got to reunite!
Ok, ok enough with the sappy stuff. Basically, it was the COOLEST thing ever to get to photograph my childhood friend’s, Victoria, engagement! And in our home town of Seville, FL nonetheless. We walked around Victoria’s grandparents property, talked about the office, and I got some genuine laughs out of Brian — who happened to actually have a ton of fun! Here are a few of my favorites…
Noah and Jessica are proof that love doesn't care how young you are, when ya know ya know! These two are high school sweethearts, freshly engaged, but have already been together for years! We ventured around my favorite Flager County park, Washington Oaks, and documented this sweet season of their little love story.
Josh and Ashley met 5 years ago while Ashley was traveling with her best friend around Europe. He actually waited on Ashley and her friend, so of course the two girls went back the next day in hopes of Josh being there again. Spoiler alert, he was!! They decided to hang out and the rest is history. Ashley ended up moving to England to be with Josh where they spent the next 4 years. They recently moved back to her hometown of Palm Coast, Fl and after about 6 months of living in Florida, Josh proposed! They had spent the day at the beach then went off on a little walk where he popped the question. AND THAT’S NOT ALL. Josh had been in cahoots with Ashley’s mother to plan a surprise engagement party, in which they came home to that night.
So their engagement session was extra special — on a beach, walking around, laughing, kissing, and hugging. Being real, being in love, and being freaking adorable. I mean look at them!
Eric and Bre got married at Club Lake Plantation in Apopka, Florida. It was truly a rustic meets glamorous affair. Bre got the party started with the girls as they were getting ready. I arrived to Taylor Swift blasting, laughing, and a bunch of insanely gorgeous ladies getting ready to celebrate their best friend’s wedding.
Randie Megan and David have been married for five years, have two of the sweetest girls, and basically just overflow with love for one another. We met up at Haleiwa Beach Park on the oh so breathtaking island of Oahu. We hugged and said hello, then made our way down to the beach. PS THERE ARE MOUNTAINS.
These two oh my gosh. I met up with Jimmie and Hillary at the Kookaburra in downtown Saint Augustine for coffee before their engagement session. We mainly met there to get some AC before walking around the city cause Florida summer heat is NO JOKE. We had some delicious coffee (iced of course) and chatted about their love story before hitting the streets.
Her and David had decided to do something a little different and get married in Big Sur on Pheiffer Beach. David's uncle married them, her mother Carole planned almost every aspect of the wedding, and they were surrounded by 31 of their closest family and friends on the most epic beach as they said their vows. Wanting to keep things intimate and more so "in the family", they chose to ask me to capture it all. God. Is. Good.
